These Orange Strawberry Popsicles are vegan, healthy, and the perfect frozen dessert to make for hot summer days! Both adults and kids love these!
What makes these popsicles so great?
They're incredibly easy to make! I love these for those times when I want to make refreshing popsicles for friends but don't want to spend too much time blending and churning ice cream. All you need are some oranges, strawberries, and some space in the freezer.
Kids love them! The strawberries add a nice sweetness and balance out the tangy orange. And as a bonus, the kids love the bright colors and the ombre effect these popsicles have!
What do you need to make homemade popsicles?
Making your own popsicles at home is easier than you think! All you need are three things!
Would you like to save this recipe?
- A blender - I recommend a high-speed blender but for this recipe, any blender will do.
- Popsicle molds - Any popsicle molds will do, the only thing that might change might be the amount of liquid you'll need based on the size of your popsicle molds. Try the ones in the link, they make the exact same popsicles as the ones in the photos!
- Wooden popsicle sticks - There isn't much you can replace popsicle sticks with but they're cheap and really easy to find!

Description
Delicious fruity popsicles for hot summer days. Incredibly easy to make!
Ingredients
-
- 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice (3-4 oranges)
- 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
- ¾ cup water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Start by juicing the oranges using a citrus juicer, pour the juice into a jug and set aside.
- Add the strawberries, water, and maple syrup into a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth.
- First, pour the orange juice evenly into each popsicle mold (about ½-3/4 full). Then, using a spoon, add the strawberry mixture into each mold.
- You can carefully move the strawberry mixture around a little in the molds with a spoon so that the popsicles have more of a gradient look.
- Place into the freezer and freezer for at least 1 hours before inserting the popsicle sticks into each mold to help them stay straight.
- Freeze for at least 12 hours.
- To take them out, run hot water over the molds briefly and they should be easy to pull out.
- Store in the freezer in small reclosable plastic bags.
Notes
This popsicle mixture isn‘t very thick so it took over an hour before I could insert the popsicle sticks. The time depends on how strong your freezer is but I recommend not rushing it if you don‘t want the wooden sticks to stick out in every direction.

Not Coming Back says
I can't even see the recipe because of all the ads...
Veronika | thehealthfulideas says
There is a jump-to recipe button at the top of every recipe. This is a free recipe on a free site you can access for free. The website costs a lot of money to run. If you don't like seeing ads on the internet, I highly suggest buying cookbooks!
Tresh. says
While I may have come back, you're sledgehammer diplomacy in response to Not Coming Back's comment is rude. They are probably talking about the ad placement on mobile. On a smartphone, the ads make the recipe difficult to read because they do cover the recipe and get in the way of a good user experience. Apparently, you don't care about that. The jump to recipe button doesn't help if a person is reading in their phone. Really, really interfere. Nobody likes having to scroll strategically to view content, nor do people enjoy accidentally clicking your invasive ads. Maybe there's a better way that doesn't involve alienating visitors with valid complaints?
Veronika Sykorova says
The jump to recipe button is working on mobile as well as desktop. Please let me know if you're seeing issues! I try to have a normal amount of ads, as everyone else. No pop ups, no background ads, and no jump to recipe button that jumps you to an ad instead of the actual recipe card as that's very bad practice.
