Description

This Strawberry Basil Lemonade is a fun twist on the classic lemonade. Perfect for serving at backyard barbecues or simply enjoying on its own.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • 1-2 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice (2-3 lemons)
  • 4 1/2 cup water (divided)
  • Ice
  • Lemon and strawberry slices and basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Into a high-speed blender add strawberries, fresh basil, agave syrup, lemon juice, and ½ cup of water.
  2. Blend on high until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a tall pitcher.
  3. Add 4 cups of water and stir to combine.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices, strawberries, and basil if desired.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up 2 days.
