This homemade Pineapple Simple Syrup is easy, simple, tropical, and perfect for summer! Use it in cocktails, mocktails, lemonade, and more!

- 1 cup finely diced fresh pineapple (or frozen)
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Add pineapple, cane sugar, and water to a medium saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
- Lower the heat and simmer the syrup for 15 minutes.
- Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes and strain the syrup squeezing as much juice out of the pineapple as possible.
- Pour into a glass jar and wait for it to cool down before closing with a lid.
- Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Store the syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Keep in mind that if you use a sugar-free sweeter it won't last as long because it has no sugar. You can also freeze the syrup in a freezer safe container for 2-4 months.
