Description
This homemade Passion Fruit Simple Syrup is perfect for cocktails, mocktails, lemonades, and more! You can even drizzle it over ice cream, desserts, or pancakes!

- 1 cup cane sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 passion fruits
Instructions
- Add cane sugar, water, and passion fruit pulp into a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil stirring constantly until all of the cane sugar dissolves.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Take the syrup off the heat and allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a large measuring cup or a bowl.
- Pour into an airtight glass jar and wait for it to cool down completely before closing with a lid.
- Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Storing: Store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Always use a clean spoon.
Freezing: Freeze any leftover syrup you won't be able to use in a small freezer-safe container. I like using multiple small 2-4 serving containers and labeling them so that I know how much I need to defrost each time. Defrost the syrup in the fridge in just a couple of hours.
