Description

This Orange Smoothie is refreshing, light, and creamy. It's made with just a few simple ingredients and it comes together in about 5 minutes! You can serve it as a light breakfast or a refreshing snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 orange, peeled and chopped (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1-2 frozen bananas (depending on your desired consistency)
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango or pineapple (or a mix of both)
  • 1 tsp honey or agave (optional)
  • Handful of ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add everything except honey and ice to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Taste and add sweetener and a handful of ice if needed. Blend again.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a slice of orange if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Adding ice isn’t necessary but I recommend it if you’re using only 1 frozen banana to make the smoothie cooler and slightly thicker.

The smoothie tastes the best served right away but you can store it in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
