Ingredients

Scale
- 4 cups cranberries
- the zest of 1/2-1 orange
- the juice of 1 orange
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (add more or less to taste)
Instructions
- Add the cranberries to a pot with a splash of water, the orange zest, orange juice, and maple syrup, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes or until all the cranberries pop.
- Stir occasionally to make sure it’s not sticking to the bottom. Cook till you reach your desired consistency. I like to make my cranberry sauce really saucy so I cook it for about 20 mins total.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about 5 days.
Notes
If you don't have maple syrup you can use any other sweetener you like. Honey, yacon syrup, coconut sugar, date sugar, brown sugar, etc.
