Chambord and Champagne Cocktail with Raspberry Syrup

Description

A delicious champagne cocktail made with raspberry liqueur and homemade syrup. Perfect for any celebration!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 oz Chambord
  • 1 tbsp Raspberry Simple Syrup (see notes)
  • Raspberries for garnish (optional)
  • 4-6 oz Champagne or Prosecco (or enough to fill up the glass)

Instructions

  1. To a champagne glass, add the Chambord and raspberry simple syrup and swirl to mix.
  2. Toss in 1-3 raspberries for garnish if desired.
  3. Fill the rest of the glass to the top with Champagne or Prosecco.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

Raspberry syrup: 1 1/2 cup water, 2 cups raspberries (fresh or frozen), 1 cup maple syrup or cane sugar, 2 tsp vanilla extract. Simmer raspberries, water, and syrup/sugar for 15-20 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract and strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Store in a glass jar in the fridge. See the link above for a more detailed recipe.
