Apple Cider Mimosa

Recipe by Veronika Sykorova

This Apple Cider Mimosa is a fun fall twist on the classic Prosecco cocktail! It's always a hit and it's one of the easiest cocktails you can make!

  • Total Time10 minutes
  • Yield6-8 1x
  • DietVegan

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 2 cups of apple cider
  • 1 bottle of prosecco
  • Garnish: thin apple slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. To prep the glasses, mix together the cane sugar and cinnamon in a small shallow bowl or a plate and set aside.
  2. Brush agave syrup around the rim of each glass and dip each glass in the sugar.
  3. Pour apple cider into the glasses about a quarter of the way up and top up with prosecco. I go for somewhere between 1:2 or 1:1 ratio, it doesn’t have to be perfect.
  4. Garnish with apple slices and enjoy!

Notes

Smaller batch: If you’re only making 2-3 servings, try to find a small bottle of prosecco that’s just enough for two people so that you don’t have to open an entire bottle. You’re going for more less 1 part of apple cider and 2 parts of prosecco or even a 1:1 ratio.

Ice: Because there’s no ice in these drinks, it’s important to make sure that both the prosecco and the apple cider and in the fridge for at least a few hours before serving, ideally overnight.
