Description

This Strawberry Peach Smoothie is really simple to make and perfect for the summer! Keep it simple with just fruit and protein powder or add some greens or a green powder for extra nutrients.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • 1 cup coconut milk (from a carton not a can, or other milk of choice)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (or water)
  • 1 serving of protein powder (I like using plain or vanilla protein powder)
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp camu camu powder (optional, high in vitamin C)
  • Pinch cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add everything to a high-speed blender and blend on high until completely smooth. If you let the blender run for longer, the smoothie will turn completely smooth, instead of a slushy-like texture, which is what I prefer.
  2. Serve garnished with a strawberry if desired and enjoy!

Notes

I like to drink my smoothies through a wide glass straw to pace myself and take longer to drink them. Smoothies are really easy to drink quickly but it’s always good to take your time because you’d never eat all that fruit as quickly if you had to chew it.

The smoothie can be kept in in the fridge in an airtight container for 1 day.

Nutritional information is only an estimate and was counted without any protein powder as they're all different and have different nutritional value.

This recipe yields 1 serving if served as a meal or up to 4 as a light snack.
