Pomegranate Simple Syrup

This Pomegranate Simple Syrup is one of the easiest homemade syrups you can make and it's freezer-friendly! Add it to cocktails, mocktails, tea, soda, or any other drink!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

Instructions

  1. Add cane sugar and pomegranate juice to a medium sauce pan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer stirring constantly until all sugar is dissolved to make sure it doesn’t stick.
  3. Simmer the syrup for 5 minutes.
  4. Take the syrup off the heat and allow it to cool for at least 5 minutes before transferring it to an airtight jar. Wait for the syrup to cool before closing the jar with a lid.
  5. Store the syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Store the syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge for 2 weeks or you can freeze it in a freezer-safe container for 2-3 months. Defrost in the fridge overnight.
