Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 3/4 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup frozen chopped strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1-2 scoops vanilla or unflavored protein powder
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth. I always recommend adding the liquids first to help everything blend more easily.
- Serve immediately in a tall glass or in a bowl with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Smoothie bowl: Add less liquid first and add more as you blend. You'll need to make the smoothie much thicker to avoid your toppings sinking to the bottom of your bowl.
- Storing: I don't recommend storing the smoothie, but if you need to, try to find a jar that’s the perfect size for it. The less space there is, the less air can be in the jar, and the longer the smoothie will stay fresh. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Optional add-ins and substitutions: Orange juice, different milk, almond butter, yogurt, pineapple, blueberries, blackberries, pomegranate powder, pomegranate arils (if your blender is strong), greens, or green powder.
