Description
This Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy and a great summer cocktail!

- Glass prep: 1 tsp agave syrup + 1 tbsp tajin
- Ice
- 1 1/2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
- 1/2 oz Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
- 1/2 oz simple syrup (or 1/4 oz agave syrup)
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 1/2 oz pineapple juice
- 1-2 slices of jalapeno (seeds removed)*
- Garnish: lime slice, jalapeno slice, pineapple wedge, pineapple leaves
Instructions
- To prep your glass, brush the rim of the glass with agave syrup and dip it in tajin. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside.
- Into a cocktail shaker add tequila, Cointreau, simple syrup or agave syrup, lime juice, pineapple juice, and 1 jalapeno slice.
- Add a handful of ice and shake vigorously for a few seconds.
- Strain the margarita into your prepared glass and garnish with lime or jalapeno slice, and a pineapple wedge, and pineapple leaves if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
* To make it spicier, add 2 or 3 for an extra spicy margarita.
