Description

Sip on sunshine with this easy-to-make Passion Fruit Smoothie. Serve it as a refreshing snack or add protein powder to serve it as a meal!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1-2 cups coconut water
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen passion fruit puree (or the pulp from 2 passion fruits)
  • 1 serving of plain protein powder

Instructions

  1. Add everything to a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth. Add more coconut water if needed to reach desired consistency. I recommend always adding liquids into the blender first. It helps everything blend easier.
  2. Serve immediately in a tall glass or in a bowl topped with berries, nuts, seeds, or yogurt.

Notes

Optional add-ins: coconut milk, almond milk, almond butter, or greens powder

Storing: Smoothies are always best eaten right away but if you need to, store any leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The less air there is in the jar the better. It prevents oxidation and helps to keep the smoothie fresh for longer.
