Description

This Iced Rose Latte is made with homemade syrup and it's ready in minutes! Great for Valentine's Day and the syrup has lots of other uses!


Ingredients

Rose Syrup

  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3-4 tbsp rose water

Iced Rose Latte

  • ice
  • 1/2 cup oat milk (or your milk of choice)
  • 1-3 tbsp rose syrup
  • 2 shots espresso
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Food-grade dried rose petals (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Rose Syrup

  1. Add cane sugar and water to a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Take the syrup off the heat and stir in rose water.
  5. Pour into a glass jar and store in the fridge.

Iced Rose Latte

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice about halfway up.
  2. Froth your milk if desired and pour it over the ice.
  3. Add rose syrup.
  4. Brew two shots of espresso and pour them over the milk and ice.
  5. Top with whipped cream if desired and sprinkle with dried rose petals.


Notes

You can store leftover syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge for 2 weeks.
