This Gingerbread Simple Syrup is the perfect syrup for coffee, lattes, and cocktails during the holiday season! It comes together in just 10 minutes!

Instructions

  1. Add dark brown sugar, water, and gingerbread spice to a medium pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Take the syrup off the heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour into a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Wait for the syrup to fully cool down before closing with a tight-fitting lid.

Notes

You can add the syrup to lattes and cocktails, or drizzle it over pancakes, waffles, or desserts.

You can freeze any leftover syrup in an ice cube tray.
