Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1-2 cups coconut water (add more or less depending on your preferred consistency)
- 1 packet of frozen dragon fruit (or 1 dragon fruit cubed and frozen)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup frozen passion fruit puree
- 1/4 cup frozen mango
- 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 serving protein powder (I use unflavored)
- 1 scoop greens powder (optional for added nutrients)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender. I recommend adding the coconut water first to make everything easier to blend.
- Blend on high and add more coconut water as needed.
- Serve immediately in a tall glass or a bowl topped with fruits, nuts, seeds, or granola, and enjoy!
Notes
Smoothies are best served right away. If you need to, you can store any leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The less air there is in the jar the better. Less air prevents oxidation and helps the smoothie last longer.
Frozen passion fruit puree should be easy to find in the frozen section of most grocery stores where other fruits are. If you can’t find it, you can use the pulp from 1-2 passion fruits instead. I like to strain them to remove the seeds.
