Description

This Blueberry Mocktail is really easy to make, full of flavor, and so refreshing! It makes a great refreshing drink for summer BBQs but it's also fancy enough to be served at a big holiday party!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • ice
  • 1 oz Blueberry Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Mint Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Garnish: blueberries, a slice of lime, fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice and add blueberry syrup, mint syrup, and lime juice.
  2. Use a cocktail spoon to stir everything together.
  3. Top up the drink with sparkling water creating a layered effect.
  4. Garnish the drink with blueberries, a slice of lime, and some fresh mint if desired. Serve with a straw and stir before enjoying.

Notes

Mint simple syrup (makes 1 1/3 cup): 1 cup water, 1 cup cane sugar, 15-20 fresh mint leaves. Bring everything to a simmer in a medium saucepan stirring often. Simmer for 5 minutes. Take off heat and steep mint for 10 more minutes. Remove mint and store the syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
