Description

This Blackberry Smoothie is refreshing, healthy, and so delicious! Ready in just 5 minutes and it can be served as a snack or light breakfast.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups coconut water (or less if you want the smoothie thicker)
  • 1/2 tsp fresh lemon zest
  • 1 serving of plain protein powder (optional, vanilla protein powder or one with mixed greens also work)

Instructions

  1. Add everything into a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately in a glass or in a bowl with berries, granola, or other toppings.

Notes

Storing - The smoothie is best enjoyed immediately, but if needed, you can store in in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The less air there is in the jar the longer the smoothie will stay fresh so pick a glass that’s best for how much you have leftover.

Nutritional info is counted without any protein powder as they all have different nutritional values.
