Caramelized Onion Mashed Potatoes

What you'll need: Avocado oil Butter Yellow onions Sea salt Thyme Apple cider Yellow potatoes Creme fraiche Milk

Caramelize onions in a large pan with oil and butter. Add apple cider to help the process and add flavor.

Cook potatoes drain, add milk, creme fraiche, sea salt, and herbs.

Mash potatoes using a potato masher or a hand mixer.

Stir in the caramelized onions but reserve some for garnish.

Garnish with more caramelized onion and serve with meats, chicken, turkey, or veggies!
